Welcome to The International Institute of Human Lactation
The IIHL-IILH was established to expand the original Montréal Institute for Lactation Consultants (MILC) lactation education program (founded in 2002) internationally. Our current program is offered in French and English, 2 – 4 times a year, consisting of 14 courses over 7 months (September to February) and a practice exam with review. In addition to lectures/discussion/case studies, there is opportunity for a clinical rotation at a tertiary level hospital-based breastfeeding clinic. Our instructors provide a comprehensive, evidence-based, overview, covering areas of the IBLCE Exam Blueprint, thereby preparing candidates with knowledge and skills to sit the exam, toward obtaining the IBCLC credential. Our Lactation Education Program is approved by the Lactation Education Accreditation and Approval Review Committee (LEAARC) for 119 Lactation Education hours.

Bienvenue à L’institut international de lactation humaine
Le IIHL-IILH a été créé pour élargir l’Institut pour les consultants en lactation Montréal (MILC) d’origine programme d’éducation de lactation (fondée en 2002) au niveau international. Notre programme est offert en français et en anglais, 2 - 4 fois par an, composé de 14 cours pendant 7 mois (Septembre à Février) et un examen pratique avec révision. En plus des lectures / débats / études de cas, il ya possibilité d’un stage clinique à une clinique d’allaitement de niveau tertiaire en milieu hospitalier. Nos instructeurs de fournir une approche globale, fondée sur des preuves, aperçu, couvrant les domaines de la modèle d’examen IBLCE, les candidats préparant ainsi les connaissances et les compétences nécessaires pour passer l’examen, vers l’obtention du certificat IBCLC. Notre programme d’éducation en lactation est approuvé par « Lactation Education Accreditation and Approval Review Committee (LEAARC) » pour 119 heures de formation en lactation.
